The strategy for binary options is based on the Vortex indicator. This tool consists of two oscillating lines that help determine the direction of the trend and predict further market behavior. The search for trading signals is based on the intersection of these lines. Despite the high efficiency of the indicator, we prefer to combine the tool with MACD to minimize risks.

Setting up indicators on the Quotex broker platform

To use this strategy, you need to set the following parameters:

• Vortex: period 21, line viPlus - blue, viMinus - red;
• MACD (default settings): 12, 26, 9.

The author of the strategy recommends trading the strategy on the 5-minute time frame. It is best to set an expiration time of 15 minutes or 3 candlesticks.

Conditions for entering a trade on the Quotex broker platform

You do not need to have special skills to trade binary options. To enter a trade, it is enough to wait for two conditions to match.

The trading signal for purchasing a CALL option is:

• On the Vortex indicator, the blue line crossed the red line from bottom to top and is above it;
• On the MACD indicator, both lines crossed below the zero level.

The trading signal for purchasing a PUT option is:

• On the Vortex indicator, the blue line crossed the red line from top to bottom and is below it;
• On the MACD indicator, both lines crossed above the zero level.

When all conditions match, we get the strongest signal, but in practice this doesn’tt happen often. Enter a trade, if the lines of different indicators cross at a distance of no more than 3-4 candlesticks.
