Strategy for the binary options broker Quotex - Keltner Channel + MA
The strategy is based on a combination of Keltner channels and exponential moving averages. The combination of these tools allows you to get accurate trading signals when trading binary options on the 5-minute time frame. The optimal expiration time is 15 minutes or 3 candlesticks.
Setting up indicators on the Quotex broker platform
When adding the Keltner Channel indicator, the default settings are not suitable. You need to set the following parameters:
- EMA period: 40;
- ATR period: 20;
- Multiplier: 2.
The colors of the lines are left by default.
The parameters of the moving average are as follows:
- Exponential moving average (EMA);
- Period: 8;
- Color: at your discretion, but for convenience we set purple
The strategy is suitable for trading on the 5-minute chart, and the optimal expiration time is 15 minutes or 3 candlesticks.
Conditions for entering a trade on the Quotex broker platform
This strategy is easy to use even for beginners, so it remains to find trading signals.
Purchasing a CALL option: the moving average crossed the upper line of the Channel from bottom to top.
Purchasing a PUT option: the moving average crossed the bottom line of the Channel from top to bottom.
After these conditions are met, we wait for the candlestick to close, at the level of which the intersection occurred. Entry into a trade is at the opening of the next candlestick.
