The strategy for the binary options broker Quotex is based on the Ichimoku Cloud indicator. This tool is used to determine the direction of the trend, and also serves as a support and resistance level to find the best trade entry points.

Setting up indicators on the Quotex broker platform

When adding an indicator, we use the standard settings, but change the color of the lines:

• Tenkan Sen: period - 9, color - red;
• Kijun Sen: period - 26, color - blue;
• CChikou Span: color - green;
• Senkou Span A: color - orange;
• Senkou Span B: period - 52, color - yellow.

The strategy is suitable for trading on the 5-minute chart, and the optimal expiration time is 15 minutes or 3 candlesticks.

Conditions for entering a trade on the Quotex broker platform

To open an up trade, you need to wait for the following conditions to be met:

• The red line of Tenkan Sen crosses the blue line of Kijun Sen from bottom to top;
• The price is above the cloud;
• Entry into a trade is at the opening of the next candlestick.

A down trade can be opened under the following conditions:

• The red line of Tenkan Sen crosses the blue line of Kijun Sen from top to bottom;
• The price is below the cloud;
• Entry into a trade is at the opening of the next candlestick.

This strategy is effective. But it requires patience, since the signals do not appear very often.
