The strategy for the binary options broker Quotex is based on the popular Envelope indicator. This tool shows the upper and lower limits of the price range. A simple moving average is additionally used to confirm entry and filter signals.

Setting up indicators on the Quotex broker platform

When adding the Envelope indicator, you need to set the following parameters:

• Period: 20;
• Deviation: 0.01;
• Moving Average: SMA, close.

Next, add the MA with the following parameters:

• Period: 6;
• Moving Average: SMA.

The strategy is best used for trading on the 5-minute time frame. The expiration time is 3 candlesticks or 15 minutes.

Conditions for entering a trade on the Quotex broker platform

To open an up trade, wait for the following conditions to be met:

• The price went beyond the lower boundaries of the envelope;
• The moving average completely crossed the body of the bullish candlestick
• Entry into a trade is at the opening of the next candlestick.

A down trade is opened when the following conditions are met:

• The price went beyond the upper boundaries of the envelope;
• The moving average completely crossed the body of the bearish candlestick;
• Entry into a trade is at the opening of the next candlestick.

This is a very simple yet effective strategy. But it is not recommended to make trades for amounts exceeding 5% of the current balance.
