Strategy for the binary options broker Quotex - CCI and MACD
The simple strategy for binary options is based on CCI and MACD indicators. The first tool shows the speed of price change and the second one is an oscillator to track the trend. The combination of two indicators allows you to find the best entry points to open a profitable trade. The strategy is suitable for different time frames, but we recommend to trade on the 5-minutes time frame. The optimal expiration time is 10 minutes or 2 candlesticks.
Setting up indicators on the Quotex broker platform
To trade on this strategy, you only need to make some adjustments to the basic settings:
- CCI: period 14 (by default);
- MACD: fast period - 12, slow period - 26, signal period - 2.
For convenience, you can increase the saturation of the color to make the lines more clear.
We recommend using the strategy for trading on the 5-minute time frame. When opening a trade, set the expiration time to 15 minutes or 3 candlesticks.
Conditions for entering a trade on the Quotex broker platform
A signal to open an up trade appears, when the following conditions are met:
- The CCI line rose above the +100 level;
- MACD line and histogram are above the zero level;
- Entry into a trade is at the opening of the next candlestick, after breaking through the levels.
The signal to open a down trade is:
- The CCI line fell below the -100 level;
- MACD line and histogram are below the zero level;
- Entry into a trade is at the opening of the next candlestick, after breaking through the levels.
The strategy is simple and easy to use, so it does not cause difficulties even for beginners. Signals for buying and selling options appear quite often, but do not make a trade for an amount exceeding 5% of the deposit.
